Jason Carter bowled more like PBA legend Don Carter today at Central Square’s Green Acres Lanes as the Liverpool High School Boys Varsity Bowling Team notched their long anticipated first win of the season by defeating Central Square High School’s Redhawks 2-1. Carter’s day kept getting better as the match went on, as an opening 216 game was followed by a 217 middle score. Jason wasn’t finished yet, as he closed with a big 243, ending up with the team’s season high series of 676.
Dietrick Roberson missed out on a 600 series by a mere two pins as he dialed in during game three, finishing the day on a high note with a nice 232 game for a 598 total.
Jimmy Santy added a 210 game for the 1-9 Warriors.
The Varsity Keglers return home to Flamingo Bowl on Thursday afternoon at 3:30 for a match against Syracuse.
